We chose to baptize Alexandra because we believe that as a covenant child she is able to share in some of the blessings God promises His people. It is also an opportunity for us, as parents, to make a public profession that we will teach her about our faith and pray that one day she will know God personally and not just as part of a Christian family.
"For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” Acts 2:39
We were so thankful to all of our family who could join us for the weekend!

Patrick and Chris were also baptized in this gown. It was a chilly morning, so Alex also got to wear the overcoat."All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children."
