My kind of snow day

I have to admit that my "ideal snow-day" has changed quite a bit since having children. While I used to enjoy a day that included sledding on the back hill, building snowmen, and using the four-wheeler to pull friends around on a disk; now, my perfect snow day involves a clear morning, a light dusting of snow during naptime and a quick romp on the back deck during afternoon play time. Patrick had a great time playing in our half-an-inch of snow. Most of his play involved trying to get snow on Linus and seeing which of his yard toys had ice in them. Alexandra was content to sit in my lap or on the swing and let her cheeks get rosy. Now, onto spring!
